Terms of Service Residential Lawncare
Safety-Safety is #1 priority while we are working or your property, we provide our technicians with proper training for their jobs that they perform daily. For your safety and ours you are responsible for keeping yourself, children, and pets away from the work areas. If we are treating your lawn please keep children and pets off until product has had an opportunity to dry. Every truck will have a fire extinguisher and first aid kits and our service providers are trained to use these items in case of emergency. McClintock Lawn and Landscape LLC is a Smoking Free Company.
Lawn Services- Weekly Mowing, Bi-weekly Mowing, Brush Hogging, Property Cleanups, Debris Cleanups, Spring Cleanup, Fall Cleanup, Aeration, Over seeding, and more. COMING IN 2024 LAWN TREATMENTS AND PET WASTE REMOVAL. For more information on our residential lawn care services CLICK HERE.
Lawn Care Season- Our lawn care season typically runs the last week of March/first week of April- late October/ early November. Normal lawn care hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm weather may affect this timing and we may arrive as late at 8pm to mow to get caught up.
Holidays- Our employees are given several holidays off. We will either push your scheduled service ahead or behind to accommodate the holidays to avoid being on your property during a time of celebration. These holidays are as follows,New Year's Eve/Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday for Thanksgiving, Christmas week thru New Years Day. On these days we will be open for emergency services only Snow Removal, Storm Damage Cleanups.
Payment-When you accept an estimate from McClintock Lawn and Landscape LLC, you will be asked about your preferred payment method. We accept CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS, AND CHECKS/ MONEY ORDERS ONLY. No cash will be accepted and checks/ money orders MUST be mailed into the office. Our service technicians are not permitted to accept any payments for services. Our preferred method is card on file. This is an automatic billing process and is encrypted and stored in a safe and secure payment system to be used by our company for collecting payment for services performed by McClintock Lawn and Landscape LLC. Payment for lawn care service will be billed on the last day of the month. After each payment there will be a receipt emailed to you. Payment terms are on a Net 14 and are due on the 14th of every month.
We are transitioning to strictly card on file in 2024 for our reoccurring services. i.e. mowing, fertilization. Single projects over $1000.00 will be able to pay with either card or check. Weekly billing for mowing will begin in 2024 and the day of service for fertilization/ weed control will begin in 2024.
Late Fees-If payment is unable to be processed, services will be put on hold until payment is made and a $40.00 fee will be charged to your account. Repeated unsuccessful payment attempts or repeated late payments may result in termination of service.
Weather- Lawn care and Landscape Services are dependent on the weather making scheduling difficult at times. We will try to keep scheduling issues to a minimum; however circumstances beyond our control may affect your scheduled service. If a scheduling issue occurs we will email you with our new anticipated arrival.
Picking up Items- Being our lawn service will be predictable and reliable, we ask that you please pick up all items in your yard and move any obstructions ie. cars, objects blocking gates, children's toys, garden hoses, garden equipment, grills, tree limbs etc. Extra charges may apply if our lawn technicians are responsible for picking up these items. This will ensure that our lawn care service can be performed efficiently giving you an affordable lawn care and will minimize possible damage to your property and our equipment. Repeated occurrences, damage to our equipment or injury to our employees will result in termination of service.
Extra Cleanup- If a storm or heavy wind causes you or your neighbors tree to discharge more then normal yard debris we will cleanup and haul away all debris for $70per man hour+ $25 disposal fee for each full sized pickup load. This will be communicated with our client before service(s) begin with approval we will automatically start cleaning up the debris. If client prefers case by case services we will contact you before work begins. Please CONTACT US if there is storm damage to your property and we will discuss options.

Mow Heights/ Mow Skips- Our Weekly Mowing and Bi-Weekly mowing cut height is 3 1/4" in Spring/ Fall and tapering to 3 3/4" during summer months. This will guarantee optimal growth and protection for your lawn and protect your grass from damaging roots, and unwanted weed growth.
When our lawn care service providers arrive to your property they will examine your lawn if they determine that your lawn will benefit from skipping the Crew Leader will make note of the skipping. If you would like to skip your lawn mowing we allow one client requested skip per year for WEEKLY CLIENTS ONLY. Bi-Weekly Mowing Clients are not able to request skipping their lawn. This is due to possible excessive growth during the time frame. You must contact us 24 hours minimum (Friday for monday services) in advance or 50% of your service rate will be charged to your account. If we arrive on location and are requested to skip there will be 50% of the service rate charged to your account.
Satisfaction Guarantee- If you are not 100% satisfied with the quality of service we have provided on your property please contact us within 24hours of service. Please Call, Email, or contact us thru our Customer Portal. Please leave your contact information, and describe the issue in detail. We will contact you as soon as possible. If contacted after business hours (Monday-Friday 8am-5pm) we will contact you as soon as we re-open. If an issue should arise after the 24hour window it may be an issue out of our control and possibly prevent us from correcting the issue.
Promotional- McClintock Lawn and Landscape LLC may take pictures and or video for use in training and promotional purposes. By accepting this estimate you are granting us permission to take pictures/ video and give us the sole rights to the property of these photographs.
Damages to customers property- McClintock Lawn and Landscape LLC or its employees cannot be held responsible for damages to irrigation systems, sprinkler heads, downspouts and or covers. We are not held liable for damages caused by string trimmers including but not limited to fencing, mailbox posts, swing sets and play areas, decorations in the lawn, power cords garden hoses, unprotected siding that is low to the ground, unmarked plants placed outside of regular beds, and other unmarked or unprotected areas.
Cancellation of Services- If you choose to cancel our service a written 24 hour notice or Friday by 5pm for Monday services is required. If we do not receive a 24hour notice a fee of 50% fo your service rate will be applied to your account.
